Rittman Schools were featured in the August Issue of Ohio School Boards Association Journal for the implementation of the Telemed Program. Take a minute to read over the article and learn more about how it works.
If staff or students get sick during the school day, telemedicine is now available. Equipment in the clinic allows a physical assessment to be done by the nurse under the direction of a nurse practitioner for diagnosis and treatment as needed. Parent or guardian may be part of the visit as well via a computer or smart phone. Cost is $20 for staff and $10 for students (waived for students eligible for free/ reduced lunches).
