Parent Update - 5/22/2020

District Update

May 22, 2020

Ohio Department of Education is seeking feedback:

As mentioned in our update last week, we are considering and planning for several scenarios for school in the Fall, as no final decisions have been made at the state level.  However, we must follow guidance provided by Governor DeWine, the Ohio Department of Health, and the Ohio Department of Education.  The Ohio Department of Education has asked Ohio parents for feedback as they continue work on a plan for possibly re-opening K-12 schools next school year. State education officials have asked the Ohio Parent Teacher Association to come up with feedback to their draft re-opening plan.  Access the article HERE.

Food Update:

The school food program will NOT be serving lunches on Memorial Day,  Monday, May 25. Lunches will be served the rest of the week, Tuesday thru Friday.

We will continue to serve lunches & breakfast through the month of June, Monday through Friday.  Serving lunches the rest of the summer has not been decided yet.

As a reminder, all chromebooks and chargers must be turned in next week.  Chromebooks CANNOT be kept over the summer.  Needed maintenance, updates and inventory is required over the summer.  Please plan to charge your chromebooks the day prior to pick-up so they can be powered up.
